Guinness World's Longest Picnic Attempt - Presented by Zehrs Markets
Zehrs World's Longest Picnic AttemptOn Sunday July 15 we need EVERYONE to help us beat the current record for Longest Picnic, set in Germany in 2009 with a picnic spanning nearly 2 km. Participation is FREE for this event!
Make your way to downtown Kitchener starting at 11 am; official measuring begins at noon, so sit tight while the final numbers are recorded. Tables and chairs will be provided along the proposed route, which will run down King Street from Francis to Eby, then up and back along Duke Street. You only need to bring your lunch and enjoy!
We need you, your little league teams, service clubs, church groups, associations, businesses, families and friends . . . EVERYBODY to be a part of this attempt! Bring your lunch, visit your local Zehrs or see below for a link to some of our sponsors to arrange for a lunch on-site, along with additional details as the date approaches.This is a rain or shine event!
